i bought this fog light kit, and it has so much wires and all these little bull shiit things. can i just run the pos. and ground, and make a direct switch with an inline fuse? i mean i have over 6 diff. wires and a relay and all this crap. i mean doesnt the fog run off of 12volts anyways? or would i blow something if i ran it directly off the battery with a switch?

damn if you thikn about doing this then u should have someone do it for you. them black shiits are the relays to raise up the amperage=current. you need this so that u don't draw alot of current from the car. think of it as a cap for your system. do u know how much power is drawn from ur fogs?

Uhm.. i guess my battery has 12volts. so maybe 12. but if it works as a a cap then maybe 14 to 20. neways im going to use it. thankx

lol you, my friend, are nuts. a relay is a switch. it allows a low voltage/current signal to control a much larger current...if you want to compare it to something it wouldn't be a cap, it would be a transistor.

you dont have to use the relay if you direct wire the positive and negative to the battery with a fuse and a switch. the relay is provided if you want to use aomething else to turn ur fogs on other than a switch, such as using the radio output to turn them on. get what im saying?
