Ok i have 96 maxima se and a nice JVC head unit and i want to put it in my car that currently has the bose system. I got the wiring harness, and the antenna adapter. I didn't splice the harness because i wasnt sure if i have to. But i have everything hooked up, i get power, it functions fine, but no sound comes out. there is also a weird thing coming out of the antenna adaptor that ive never seen before, and i dont know where to hook it up to, but i dont think i need to anyway. Y am i not getting sound? anyhelp, or links would be helpful. I already searched for a thread on this topic, but i couldnt find anything.

 

the weird thing coming out of the adapter is for if u bought an aftermarket antenna its for universal fit. As for the no sound problem make sure all your speaker connections are done right and u spliced correctly. U said u havnt spliced anything but i dont get what u mean by that?
