I am finally getting around to installing my microvision. For those of you that have installed it, did you remove the rear panel/bracket thing and leave all the electronics and PCB exposed?? Any other install tips appreciated. Thanks.

 

that is how i did mine. it fitted right in that area with no need for anything. i did have to mill out the bottom a little (THe cubby hole) to mount the radio but it was easy twenty minutes tops.
