Input on stock 97 SE BOSE headunit? CD Changer?

I have a Sirius Sat Radio and use the FM Modulator. I have read on the Sirius forums that if you have a headunit with a CD Changer connector, you can get a cable to make that like an input and hook it up to the satellite radio.

I went through 4-5 websites and nobody makes a cable for the 97-99 BOSE headunit!!! There are cables for 100's of other cars.. just not the Maxima.

Where can I find one?

Expensive but this should do the trick. http://www.logjamelectronics.com/soundauxniss.html

It's too much for me, so i just stuck with the FM modulator.

Sirius via FM modulation = waste of Sirius. I'd do anything I could to get a real input that's doesn't ruin your sound quality. Sorry I can't help.

I have just been looking around and came across that converter also. But it says 1998+ BOSE Maxima headunits. I have a '97. Will this still work with the 97 BOSE?... (yea, I have the changer output and the CD CHG button)

Yes, it should work. The 97-98 Maximas came with the same HU. If the HU number (located on the cass. tape "door" above the BOSE logo) says CN555, it will definately work as I have that same HU in my car with a Soundgate adapter. The only problem you will have is with alternator whine. I haven't found a solution to this yet with my Audiovox Sirius tuner, but when it gets warmer here in Jersey I plan on ripping everything apart and fixing it.
