This is one of the lowest model eclipse units for 05 but wow is it amazing. Sounds much better then my friends alpine. I am extremly happy with my purchase and dont think i could have gotten a better unit without spending more money on a higher eclipse product. Just want to let everybody know that it is a solid HU for a very decent price. Also want to thank don for mentioning it to me because otherwise i dont think i would have checked it out.

also i have s scoshe kit for a 2000-2003 for sale in the classifieds now.

$199 plus tax, then 30 for install because i NEED the warrently that came with it so a professional install was neccessary and 15 for a dash kit cause the scoshe didn't fit my tastes.

ya they really did. I was REALLY into the 04 models. But after not being able to find one don chimed in a few posts back and i looked at and went to the local dealer and played around with it. I could not be happier! the HU is sick. it looks very nice during the day with the sorta glossy finish making it shine. really looks like it belongs in the max. and songs that used to sound like **** with my old PHony cause of the rattling and whatnot sound amazing. for whatever reason songs dont rattle as much but still hit incredibly hard!

I told my buddy about my Eclipse deck and let him listen to it. He went and got an 8445 a couple weeks back. He is very happy with it.

 

thats what i think is great. is i didn't want to spend that much on a deck so just buying one of their cheapest model and i absolutly love it
