Subwoofer buzz

05 Max w/ base BOSE

I have the PAC converter to run an amp & sub

It just started doing this: when I remove the key from the ignition, the sub buzzes for about 5 seconds. It seems that it’s still drawing a signal/power.

What gives?

Is this an aftermarket sub?
If so check the Lead wire to make sure that the sub turns off when the car turns off.

that happens because you connected you remote wire to another fuse or accessory. so when the keep comes out, the amp is off but its still getting a signal becuase there is always constant power from the battery, and the remote wire is powering it as well.

im assuming you have the remote wire connected to an accessory fuse, you should connect it to the AUDIO fuse so when the radio comes off the amp comes off aswell

And how would the ground affect this?

What kind of amplifier are you using?
