getting subs/amp-looking for reccomendations

i have a sealed box that can hold 2 12's each with 1.25 volume. im looking for a decent sytem around 500-650, nothing competition level, that has good sound quality. i also want it to be pretty loud when i turn it up. should i use the box i have or go with sometihng different like 1 15 or 2 10's. thanks for the help.

Arc Flatlines would fit in that box and work very well from what Don was telling me. I persaonally have not heard them, but he raves about them. So you have $650 just for subs, or amp and subs?

I think he was looking to get around $600 for the pair. You would have to call him though and ask what he would take for them. You may get lucky. They are great subs. He is relatively close to you too. In NJ. He would be able to get you an awesome amp for them. He is a dealer for just about everything you can think of as well. PM me if you need his #.

Alpine type r's would probably do pretty good in that sized enclosure. As far as amps how about an mtx, or alpine? They are slightly on the more inexpensive side, but are pretty good amps in my opinion.
