Hey guys i'm looking for a little Naviation unit for the car. Since i do a little of traveling to other states here and there. And I've noticed there are a lot of diffrent options i can go.

There is the straight forward way of getting something like a Garmin unit and mounting on your windshield or i was looking at Navman PiN which is a PDA with GPS and 3D maps. Or i was thinking of getting something like GARMIN GPS 18USB or MS streets and roads 2005 w/ a GPS unit on installing it on my laptop.



I was just wondering what everyone is running. And if anyone had any personal experiences with it. I happen to like the GPS/Map software with the laptop idea. It seems like a cheap and effective way of getting around.
