Radar Hardwire in 6th Gen? which wire?

I'm wanting to hardwire my rader dectector to the fuse box in my 6th gen like I did in my 5th Gen. I have the wires ran, I just need to know which and what color wire to tap into so that the radar comes on with the car?

Look at the Sticky here: http://forums.maxima.org/showpost.ph...4&postcount=18. The 2004 should be about the same. Use a DMM to test.

Well after tapping into about 10 wires I did find a few that gave power, but the power doesn't turn off with the car. I'm still open to suggestions.

Why not just have it on a switch?

Check the sticky for the colors of the wiring at ytour ignition harness. Tap it off of the accessory wire.

I mount the radar by the rear view mirror. Ran the wire across the headliner and down the driverside Apiller to the ffuse box area, but I can't find a decent source to tap into.

Ignition harness. You know your ignition?...that place you stick your key into?...the wires are there, and they can be found under your dash.

Why the ignition rather than just tapping the lighter wire?
