TV / ps2....need help with installation

ive read the stickies but i still cant find out how to do this.....i have a monitor and it has the yellow and white rca wire coming from it.....for sound i would hook this up in the back of my cd player deck, but if i wanted to hook up a ps2 where would i run the rca's from the ps2 to ? Basically how would i hook up a ps2 to the monitor and have the sound coming from my car speakers? thanks

you would run the Audio RCAs from the PS2 (that you'd normally hook to your TV/vcr/receiver) -->to your head unit. i hope your head unit has AUX in, or you'll need to find another way

the screen doesn't have anything to do with sound - just picture.

or,:
-hook your PS2's video RCA out to the screen
-hook your PS2's audio RCAs out to HU

if you don't have aux in, you will need a box to switch the sound between your cdplayer and the ps2. the sound input from the ps2 goes to this box. the video input goes to the screen. I don't listen to sound when i play video games

Check another input into your HU.

Like an mp3 player or something.

Go from there to troubleshoot. Could be as simple as your wires.

the way I ran mine screen and ps2, was the screen audio to radio then I had to buy a adapter from jvc to convert my cd changer input to rca cause it was just a 8 pin plug then plug the rca audio from the ps2 to the radio adapter and the video from the ps2 to the screen and when I want sound I hit the mode buttom on the radio and choose cd changer/line input whatever it called on your radio and then I have sound but like I said on my radio I can control the volume on my bass, cd, and cd changer inputs all seperate from the radio volume

well,, not nessicarily. try different wires.

i doubt the aux doesn't work if you haven't used it yet

stupid q, but are you sure you're plugging it into true aux-in jacks, and not rear outs or something?

check your manual.
