Fast highway driving on this windy day got me thinking...

I had to make a couple high speed, long trips down the TP today and it was pretty windy. Beyond the usual rattles that I've heard for a while (and grown accustomed to), I heard a bunch of stuff that's almost making me reconsider putting a lot of effort and money into upgrading the sound system. My front windows were making crazy noise and I'm not just talking about the noise the rear windows make in the weather stripping. I mean the glass was moving a bit and it sounded like it was beating against the door with the wind. Anyone have this problem? When I opened the driver side window, forget it, it was unbearable. Now obviously it was very windy today, but this still shouldn't happen.

I was planning on deadening the crap out of this car (floor, trunk, doors, maybe even headliner) but now I'm getting second thoughts given these window noises. Is there any way to fix them? I mean no matter how much I deaden the car, the sound of my system will be limited by these noisy *** windows.

Thoughts?

find out whats wrong with your windows first..

and with an at-all powerful system, you can't hear anything but music.

I might be deadening the floor and the doors to reduce road noise and some wind noise. I know for a fact a properly deadened 5th gen can be VERY quiet on the highway.
