ps2 in the car

does any1 have any pictures of where you mounted your ps2's in your cars.....also did you have to get that ac/dc converted so it would work? thanks

Under the seat, in the glovebox, or fiberglassed somewhere are standard locations.

Yes, you need a DC->AC inverter. $30-$40, ebay, or wherever.

how big of one would i have to buy?? isnt the ps2 like a 120ac? so a 100w dc ->ac inverter would be fine?

you can get a decent sized one from walmart. i believe i got a four hundred watt. Also go with the mini version fits perfect in the glove box. i have pics in my sig somehwere..

I'd go with a minimum of 250-300 watts.

my boy did it in his 5th gen.
with my experience with ps2, i'd definetly go with the 400
it doesn't need THAT much power, but just to be on the safeside so it won't underperform
but then again, it's really sensitive so it might fry
either way, if you run a dvd player on that amt of power, it's okay, playstation's read light demands more
