860MP is installed in the alti...

All I can say is wow, it brings the Bose to life. Definately a HUGE upgrade in SQ over the blose. Next will be to determine what I want to do if anythign with the interior speakers...... Soundlines are on their way BUT I don't know if I'm going to put them in just yet. The bose subs are kind of lacking right now and I was contemplating going with Tang bands .... any suggestions? ( I will not cut into the rear deck to add 8's or anything like that ....

I like these problem is the resistance is rated at 8 ohms Re: 6.5. Don't think that'll work well without some outboard amplification....

As long as PE has em, I can get em.

Haha who the hell is that fa...g... anyways I chose the pioneer because at the time when I bought it (now over two years ago) it had all the features I wanted and was in my ballpark for price, so were some eclipses, but I just went with the pioneer since thats what I've always ran.

I put it in the alti because I still had it from the maxima, cheaper to put it in then buy a new hu. Will probably still stick with Pioneer after this for the 880.

That is a very nice looking HU, seems to have very good tuning capabilities too.

Considering selling the arc amp? Yes.

Preout problems have been resolved SO far on mine after having it sent to pioneer. Overall its a really versatile unit though its three way function is not a true three way without a passive lowpass for the mid range signal.
