Sounds to me like you aren't powering up the amp turn on. Check that out.

I'm a bit confused. You have the stock bose, but added a monitor? You say "tv", but do you mean monitor? When you say you have no sound, do you mean you have no sound from the stock speakers when you play music? Or am I completely misunderstanding the setup you have? Where are you getting a picture from? Is this a "real" tv? Like a monitor with a tv tuner and antenna? If so, then how do you get the sound from the tv to the bose stereo? The bose in my 99 maxima didn't have any auxiliary inputs that I know of (except maybe for an add-on cd changer).

omg!

i have a 2000 nissan maxima with bose 7 speakers.

i want to add a 7 inch indash touch screen monitor.

i installed the dash kit and i have the 2 wiring harnesses installed on the monitor.

i pluged the 2 harnesses on the monitor to the factory harnesses and the monitor turns on and the dvd plays. but there is no sound coming from the 7 factory speakers.

If by "monitor", you mean a head unit with a motorized screen and DVD, then I think you need an additional item between the bose speakers and your head unit. I don't recall what the item is, but it's mentioned somewhere in the stickys here.

Edit: Found the item: Scosche NN03B -- Is this one of the wiring harnesses you have? If so, you're gonna need the advice of someone with more experience than me. I've only done complete aftermarket installs, not mixing stock with aftermarket.

You need to power bose speakers using the rca outputs on the HU, also id you hook up the remote turn on wire?

check the fargin' remote turn on like everyone else has been saying. the LOC isn't necessary, if you really want sound quality, get rid of everything bose and get an amp to power everything.
