issues with aftermarket hu

ok. i have a 90 gxe, which is a pile, so it is being the donor for parts for my sisters 91. the 90 had bose, the 91 does not. my pioneer headunit works in the 90, but when i take it and try to plug it into the 91, it doesnt work. but hte funny thing is, it worked right away, when i was testing it, but then when i mounted it, it doesnt work anymore. i tried putting it back in the 90, and it works in there. i know that the 91 the previous owner had their radio stolen. but mine was working for awhile in there, so it shouldnt be an issue. suggestions?

did you check connections to the harness? if it tested fine when it was still out of the dash, but stopped when everything is in...i'm guessing it's a lose connection somewhere.

probably accidently shorted it during the install. good thing they changed the automatic seatbelts to the traditional manual one. that thing got annoying at times.

ok everything works perfectly with the stock hooked up and the panisonic works fine in my wifes car (2000 civic). i hooked up stereos amps and the works in both of my other cars and my wifes car with no prob. the ground from the stock radio is loose and i didn't connect the antenna (new hidden antenna i ran the wire with the rcas to the trunk) could either of these be the problem? please help me! (btw she had the honda when i met her and yes i still married her anyway)
