issues with aftermarket hu
issues with aftermarket hu
ok. i have a 90 gxe, which is a pile, so it is being the donor for parts for my sisters 91. the 90 had bose, the 91 does not. my pioneer headunit works in the 90, but when i take it and try to plug it into the 91, it doesnt work. but hte funny thing is, it worked right away, when i was testing it, but then when i mounted it, it doesnt work anymore. i tried putting it back in the 90, and it works in there. i know that the 91 the previous owner had their radio stolen. but mine was working for awhile in there, so it shouldnt be an issue. suggestions?
it was working. and i didnt change anything. but now it doesnt. another thing i have noticed that started happening is the seatbelts wont move unless the ignition is switched to on.
ha i figured out what was wrong. there was a fuse blown...the "Electron BAT" fuse. and now the seatbelts work properly and the keyless entry. now everything works. wonder what blew it...and what it is for....
sorry to piggyback!
hey sorry to sorta piggyback on ya but i'm kinda having the same problem with my 90 non bose. i put my perfectly working pioneer from my paseo (RIP) in it and it worked for a while but now my seatbelts won't work until i start the car and hit the gas a little. plus all the little lights don't work either and the power locks and windows! is it my ground? I have the radio grounded to the top left bolt in the radio chassis, should i ground it somewhere else? please please help!
ok everything works perfectly with the stock hooked up and the panisonic works fine in my wifes car (2000 civic). i hooked up stereos amps and the works in both of my other cars and my wifes car with no prob. the ground from the stock radio is loose and i didn't connect the antenna (new hidden antenna i ran the wire with the rcas to the trunk) could either of these be the problem? please help me! (btw she had the honda when i met her and yes i still married her anyway)
