It is a SVC. Although, it has two coils you cannot connect the amp to the gold terminals (only the silver). The smaller, gold terminals are for making qts. adjustments.

kyman, there is absolutely nothing wrong with ppi amps. They are affordable and sound great especially for the money. Directed makes them. Black maxima does not want to spend that much on an amp and ppi is far better then most companys that sell amps in that price range.

don you are right but, i dont find them to be that bad especially for that price infact i think they are very decent amps. Of course their older amps were a hell of a lot better Before DEI picked them up.
