Show me your front speaker instalation

I´m curios to se how you have made your front speaker instalation.
I have only seen one car that have an diffrent solution than stock in front.
Thinking of buying a DLS 3-way kit or an Infinty kappa 2 way system to fit the stock holes.

The 3-way system is this one!

http://www.dls.se/english/speakers/Iridium63i.htm

This is the only one i have seen so far!

Fine,

I had this idea a while ago but never did it. If people actually contribute, it could be like the trunk thread. This thread *could* be very beneficial to show MDF rings, deadening, crossover placement, driver SIZE since some are running 8's, 9's, etc.

SO, if you have door pics, post em up!

Nothing special...

MDF rings...

Front doors with FrostKing duct insulation as sound deadening.

Front installed Infinity 6012i's w/MDF rings...

Rear installed Infinity 6002i's...
** to come later **

edit: added new pictures.

I love this stuff

This was replaced with the Germanium mids (4 in the box ). Kept 1.5 inch mdf rings behind the door, then sealed the access areas with plexi and a heat gun, then dynamat extremed over two coats of spray on deadener.

other than the kicks, theres no difference until the cars powered up...

Not without a spacer, but thats common practice for aftermarket speaker mounting and speaker depth dependant anyhow.

Pretty much i have a dedicated link to how, that shows how to do them on both sides...its in my sig, ill post the direct link.. really isnt hard, just a pain when you use vinyl (thats harder than prepping for paint to me)
