4 channel amp wiring

Hi, i know this is a noob question but i am still consider myself as a noob so i should ask

How do u run ur 4 speaker wires to the amp?? from the headunit? or directly from the speakers?

please advise, thanks!

wires from speakers go to amp.
run rca's from headunit to amp.

no, unless your amp is in the engine bay...

most people have their amps in their trunks. then you simply run speaker wires from the amp into your cabin...and finally to your speakers.

yeah...

for mine...i have wires from the trunk going under the rear seat cushion...and down each side of the car. then i took off the door sills and ran the wire under the carpet.

I ran speaker wire thru the firewall because I mounted my cap next to the battery??? Should I change that?

You can do that, but if you look on maxima.theowensfamily.com you can see the wire colors for the stock bose amp, and just use ur new amp, and tap into the speaker wire that is already in place.

use 9 wire cord. get r' done about 10x faster...... this is if you dont mind using 18 awg wire.
