rf noise please step in and help

rf noise please step in and help

All right here it goes i just installed a screen and a ps2, at first i was running a power inverter, and i was getting no interference, i hard wired it yesterday and now i am getting interference, i am only getting interference when the playstation is on and the deck is in aux. any ideas?

I was thinking sh!tty ground?

Yes Sir.....it sounds to me like it would be a ground issue. Where is the inverter grounded?...the screen?....it is not wise in my expirence to ground mulitple things in a MAX all at the same point.

Agreed with previous reply - "star" grounds, as the multiple grounds to a single location used to be called, are generally a bad idea... You almost always end up with a "ground loop" (I'd explain that one but I'll save everybody the snoozer and just say - ground them to separate, but good, locations. PS - testing good grounds = testing the resistance (ohm load) between the negative terminal on the battery and the actual attempted ground location... look for your lowest ohm load.
