Speakers...

My tweeters are blown so I need some new ones. Someone is selling an 05 PF system. 2 front speakers, front amps, tweeters, rear speaker & two way amp for rear speaker. I wanted to know if these speakers (which are supposedly in very good condition) would work better than the stock 4th gen speakers. I want to put the PF tweeters in the rear of the car (pillars), and put the pf rear speaker between the two stock speakers. How would I wire it to make the pf rear speaker work and the pf tweeters to work? And how would the sound be on them? Would it be less loud drawing power from the other speakers? How would installation be besides the rear and extra tweeters. I know how much custom work there would be for that. The others shoud just bolt right up to stock speakers correct? They are 6.5". Would I just splice them into the exsisting wires? I can get these for fairly cheap, maybe $50 so I just want to know what kind of sound and work. I don't have the money for any other upgrade. Thanks guys.

:edit: they are from an 03 PF

It's gonna sound the same as your oem stuff, basically you'd be better off upgrading.

I agree with Parag, I would take this as the perfect opportunity to upgrade to an aftermarket setup....

but it's not a perfect opportunity. I just explained that. I don't have the money to upgrade to a system and I dont want to. I want stock hu because i think all the single din hu's look like crap in our cars. I don't want to have to open spots under the hu that I won't use. Only time I'm upgrading is when I have money for double din in-dash touch screen.

Save the money you would have spent now, deal with whatcha got, and just put that towards the final end resolution to the garbage bose.

BTW if your tweets are blown, just buy the pf tweets and replace yours, call it a day.

I super highly suggest against putting tweeters in the rear too.

That sounds like a good choice for now... then save up to put in some good speakers in there.

Yeah I want to do pioneer 7" touch screen with kappa components. What is the issue with putting components front and back tho?

You want your image to be coming from in front of you, rear speakers pull away and create an unnatural image.

Good move with the tweeters, I highly suggest you stay far far away from infinity's.
