Hey eastside, I have the same head unit but am having a problem finding a dash kit for the 2003 maxima se. what year is your max, and what dash kit did you use. I was told that scosche is the only manufacturer that makes a das kit to fit the 03 max. I can't find one and will not have it installed in the car until i find a dash kit that looks right.

This unit looks very similar to Pioneer Z1. I was thinking of either getting this one or Pioneer, but not sure if its worth to pay more for better looking Nav and a HD for music.
What do you guys think?
By the way, does it have screensavers when CD is playing?
Where did you get it and how much if you don't mind me asking.

+1..have this unit and LOVE IT!
Maps are more accurate than any avic-n1, kenwood old style navi and garmin navi i've EVER used.

For example...5 lane highway... 3 lanes go one way, 2 lanes exit.
IT WILL SHOW YOU THIS IN DETAIL on the map. So you can figure out which lane to stay in instead of the navi just saying "take the exit on the right".

Hey man!
Im not sure which dash kit my installer used...
Mine is an '02...
The kit actually had a plastic bar in the middle, so its actually made for a single din unit. But my installer cut that piece off and mounted it.
Notice the final trim piece around the unit? It almost matched my interior!
I can call him and find out.. or you could call him up...
www.xtremeperf.com and Bob, the owner is who installed it...

Hey Man...
I got it installed at www.xtremeperf.com
Really clean install... the Satellite antenna is under the clock, so no wires or cables exposed anywhere!

I know it! I love it cuz I get confused otherwise... especially driving in Boston where one exit split into 4 different ones! oh man!
