anybody with a 5th gen max have one installed with a manuel shift? need to clarify, since the 5th gens use a transponder to start the car, i have been told that a extra key that has been programmed would need to be placed somewhere close to steering column to fool car into thinking key is in ignition. along with having the clutch pedal relay bypassed. would the car start up remotely using my current alarm? had same alarm back on my 3rd gen max but no transponder was needed. let me know? thanks

 

you need a key box for that year, yes. DEI makes one, forget the model number, kpr10is or Don will chime in on that. Bypasskit makes one also, the TBKIII. they both work exactly the same..
