This is my set-up: Alpine IVA-W200, Alpine ipod full speed adaptor, and Alpine digital amps. I get engine noise only when I play songs off the iPod, every other source is fine (radio and DVD). Does anybody have engine noise when they use their iPod to Alpine HU? Also iPod is in the glove box. All serious inputs welcomed.

If you bought the alpine cable authorized, take it back to them and try a new one. might be the cord.. or the unit. or try a different ipod. Process of elimination..
