Installing new HU Need help

I have an 02 with bose and installing an avic d3. Question, is there a speed sensor wire that connects to the Bose ? Also how do I bypass the bose amp and have the Bose speakers work off the new HU ? I aso have the PAC system for the steering control is the harness for the steering control behind the Bose HU ? Thanks for the help

There is a speed sensor, IIRC its brown, don't know where.

Bose amps cannot be bypassed they need to be integrated because the bose speakers will blow your D3's internal amp. You need to use a metra 70-7551 or a scosche adjustable integration unit to get the d3 integrated. Steering wheel harness is connected to the back of the headunit.

When I installed my NAV, I had to tap into the speed sensor wire behind the speedometer. Took me about 2-3 hours to do just that. =/

I decided to take out the cluster and tap into the VSS, the pink wire with blue stripe. I noticed both wire harnesses in the back of the cluster had the VSS wire. Did it matter which one I tap into ?
