I just went to the vitamin store just now and it went off 6-8 times for not reason.

WTF!? I haven't done anything to it nor have I dropped it on the ground anytime in the past 2 weeks. Any idea?
Its a default in the circuitry. My 8500 does that when i beep my horn. Called Escort to see what was up. They will fix it for $8x.00 and I can trade it in if I want.. but full price for any other detector. forget it.. its a good detector but i'll never own another one again
