Uhhh, if you guys don't know already, IASCA = International Auto Sound Challenge Association..

These are WORLD Finals this weekend- so if anyone wants to see a SERIUOS system, this is the place to be.. I know it's a long drive for most of you guys- but if you're up to it, it'd be great to meet some of you and I'm sure you'll learn a lot.

If anyone on here is even thinking of competing, this is the competition to see. it's the largest and best one of the year and will even have cars from overseas.

Here's a link to a little more info on the midwest board..

Also, be warned that this weekend is the OU/ Nebraska game in Norman (about 30 miles away).. there will be lotsa people around for it too! GO SOONERS!!

Don't think I'll be able to make it but I am rooting for OU. A Nebraska defeat will help my Hokies' weak O line in the polls.

Just out of curiosity, how many people on here are competing in IASCA?

Oh, and on behalf of my brother at Virginia Tech, I'be gotta throw in a "Go Hokies!".

There were about 150 cars at Finals I think.

as for total members in IASCA, it's probably close to 1000 active competitors. there are over 100 in my zone, and there are 13 zones in all.. my area (Texas, OK, Ar, La, KS) has a pretty decent membership, but other places like Florida and new england and west coast all have pretty large groups too.

Were there many Maxima's among them? And I don't suppose you have any cool pics to post- I hate waiting for the magazines to get around to publishing coverage.

I know slickismax took some pics with his digicam, but I did not get anything myself. I was too busy trying to get the car ready the first couple days, then the last day I stayed at the car pretty much all day.

sucks to have to actually work for one of these shows!
