WHOOOH Buddy!
WHOOOH Buddy!
Hey, just a few questions about the Bose/blose (as some of you call it) its a larger unit than the norm. heads, and was wondering, what do you do with that extra space, also, i got 2 amps, and 2 subs from a previous car, and wondering how easy it would be to install thanks for the input.

To install the amps and subs is no problem. If you got a 2000+ I30, then running the power wire is a pain since the only hole in the firewall is in the driver's side wheel well.
Once that is done, all you have to do is tap into either low-level signals going to the bose amp or tap into speaker level line and have a speaker-to-line level convertor on it before going to the amp.
WALAAAAAAA you done.

don't remember for sure, but I think MainI30 (user on this board) had trouble finding a dash kit that would work with his I30. I personally have never seen the inside of those cars so I don't the difference between them and the max, but for some reason I recall him saying they don't make one.
I have been wrong before, so don't quote me on that.
