I wish they made this unit 2 years ago when I scored the 7000. I'm still diggin on the 7000, but it's now 8v v. 5v, has a USB connection, bluetooth and is sporting a new copper chassis (not quite sure how that helps, but sounds fancy schmancy) It also looks cleaner in my opinion with it being black instead of silverish. If I had the cabbage, I'd get it.

They should rubberize the outside of that sucker. Not like I have soft and supple hands but the outside of my **** is a bit off-putting and abrasive. Wonder if they'll rubber ring it up on the 7300?

It can get a little touchy but I like it alright. I think it just needs to feel a little more crisp, responsive and solid.

For the last year or so, if it wasn't dd, then I haven't been focusing on the new stuff out unless I was doing an install with a particular unit. (Eclipse being one of them) Being informed of new tech is always a step up but, once I get my AVN in, that will change and I'll get more research in.

As for USB, I knew it was out, but didn't realize the potential until I installed a headunit with one a couple weeks ago, and saw how it would be beneficial to potential clients. This unit has more selling potential with it was all I was saying.

Aw thought it was the BEST?

No Don may or may not have used the remote, but I'm assuming that particular radio is for a client, not his own personal use.

Nope, I never use remotes. No need. Either steering controls or just reach.

Yup, me too. I've only used mine once and while I was I was thinking to myself "I'm only 2 feet away, what the hell am I doing?" so now its rests comfortably in the arm rest until someone in the back wants to fiddle with it.

Yeah, I had a remote once way back in the day. Back when I thought Kenwood was the ish. Now that I've grown up I know better. Some folks have remotes just to show off. Don't need to impress n e more.

Hey, I'm willing to take a hit on the price. I knew I wasn't going to get much for it anyway.
