Alarm install help....

Ok, I know most everyone says to not install it myself, but I DID. And Idid it correctly... almost.

This is just a cheap aftermarket alarm. I wired everything I needed, except the DOOR TRIGGER wire. I know it's located in the "low driver's kick" from the wiring diagram, but I can't find it.
Where is the "low drivers kick" located? ... I've looked all over for it and can't find the door trigger wire.

Guessing its a 4th gen?

Kickpanel is the small panel down to the bottom left of your ankle. Remove that then uncover the large black platic loom cover ton of wires. Door trigger is Red/White stripe. How did you locate trunk trigger and truck release without accessing that area?

Yeah, sorry, it is a 4th gen; 98 to be exact.

Heh, and I didn't connect the trunk wires because I don't have a power trunk (it's the manual handle, so I don't really want to mess with that).

Is the loom of wires behind the fuse box? Because I thought that it was that panel right next to the dead pedal (automatic), but there were practically no wires there. All the wires were up behind the fuse box. Just wasn't sure if I were to disconnect it from the large connector thing.

You would still have a trunk trigger.

Its a large loom (vinyl) behind the kick. You may have to pull back an inch or so of carpet to make it visible.

Thanks, I got it done... I was hoping that loom of wires that I didn't have to take apart xP. Oh well, thanks.
