Eclipse AVN5500 shuffle

When I put a Mp3 cd in and set it to random. It only chooses a random song if I let the entire song play through. If I push FF it will go to the next song instead of to the next random song. Very annoying to me. Does the new update dvd fix this? Does it make the mp3 setting any faster? When I have a MP3 cd in the entire unit runs slower.

I am gonna have to put a MP3 cd in my sisters AVIC Z2 I just installed the other day and see how it runs.

This isn't the first H/U that does it like that. I've actually had/seen a few that do that. I'm sure that you can get over it. It just depends on the manufacturer.
