Where's the trunk trigger?

I can't find the trunk trigger wire(violet/yellow) in the kickpannel. Does it only come on cars equiped with electronic trunk release? I got a 98 GXE.

trunk wire

there is a short and the long way

the short way is to run a wire from the brain of ur alarm that is connected to the trunk sense to the negitive side of the trunk lamp

the long way is to check in side the wire loom that is running from the left side of ur door sill it usally running on that side
