Problem...

I don' know whats up my speakers or my wiring, I have an Eclipse head unit with 4 kicker inside speakers and to 12' Kicker subwoofers and all of a sudden I get in my car 2day after class and nothing is working...the cd player and radio comes on but nothing comes out of the speakers "at all" could it possibly be a shortage??? It was workin fine the other day...then all of a sudden this happens...

do you have a 4 channel amp for the door speakers?
and is you're sub amp turning on at all?

More information please. What amp or amps do you have. From the information you have given thus far it sounds like there are few things I would look at. First, your remote wire has a disruption in it. Second, is a fuse in the power line is blown. Yet another is your amplifier power or ground has a distruption, ei dissconnected or cut. Finally check the fuses on the amps. You can eaither take them out and visually inspect them or use a multi-meter to check for continuity(I recommend the latter as fuses can break and you can't identify the break visually).

Let us know what you find.

Yes I do and no my sub amp isn't turning on at all...

I have the Kenwood KAC-9103D(1800w) for my Sub amp, and the Kicker KX350.4 (4 channel) for the speakers inside also have the converter...

Check your main system fuse.

check the ground maybe your not fully ground sand the ground of the wire

The main system fuse is or should be located under the hood. The ground may or may not be run back under the hood depending on the installer.

Pop your hood and post a pic or two, we shall be able to guide you from the pics.

Funny thing is I got in the car 2day...and turned my cd player up and it was working>??????? lol, but I still need to know what the problem was, because I need to prevent this from happening again....
