static FM when heater on (Bose)

I have a 5th Gen, 01 and when the Rear Window Defroster is turned on the Bose FM reception goes from fine to 80% static. Any thoughts? Thanks!

killed removing rear window tinting?

No, all stock. When I bought the car last week, the dealer removed the rear window tinting. I'd say they killed the antaenna but it works fine when the rear window defrost isn't working. Is something possibly unplugged .... but then I would assue it wouldn't work at all... thanks!

BTW... It seems the built -in rear window is the only antennae for the radio? (Bose w. stock sub 2001 ae)

Wait.

It doesn't work when your HEATER is on, or when your REAR DEFROST is on?

My bad... I meant rear window defrost. (orig. post said Heater...)
Pre- Christmas burnout syndrome had a hold on me.

My aforementioned post still stands. It did work prior to them removing the tint, and now it doesn't. They worked on the rear window, which is where your antenna is.

This is not rocket science.

Happens on my Mazda6 with tint, never knew why but in that car it takes like 1min or less to defrost.
