Compustar remote start help.

hello everyone, I just bought a 04 Maxima last week and it came with a compustar CM-3000 VD 2 way alarm and remote starter with a 2W900FMR Remote control. everything but the remote starter works fine, the dip switches are set to Tach sense. when I activate the remote start the engine just cranks for 3 tries, no ignition. I programed the tach learn and got no confrimation of a fault by the way of the park lights flashing. The dealership I bought the car from said that there is sussposed to be another key taped under the dash but I dont see one, so I placed my other chipped key near the ignition and still no start. I will test fo AC voltage at the tach sense plug tomorrow at work, Is there anything else I should look for? also, I get no codes after the engine cranks 3 times.

I install Intergrated Marine electronics systems for a living and should be able to figure this out with a little help from you automotive Guru's.

Thank's in advance,

John C.

Sounds about right to me.. there is a way to program nissan keys you may need an extra one though. Never had the pleasure of programming one, maybe theres a write up floating around here. try 6th gen forums?
