Flickering HID lights vs. Solid HID kits

You can see ours compare to others. On the left, the light is flickering the whole time. poorly made HID kits will flicker. it's not the installation but simply a bad kit.

I've found it to be a bad ballast in the past if the light is flickering..

I need some HIDs for our vehicles, just waiting for the stockers to fail.....

This is how our HID kit looks like:


This is how the setup should be

bulbs --> ballast --> Wire harness --> Oem connector

The setup is pretty much the same for all kits, the difference is how the ballast and bulb are designed.

a lot of kits have the ballasts fed directly through the battery using a seperate harness which gets rid of a lot of ballast problems.
