Bose alpine help
preout is 4v. used a regular harness from best buy. found out today the external amp is not sending out the volume on any channels. I tested this with a regular 4ohm speaker. So this means the Bose amp is turning on, its just the signal is not coming out from the alpine amp.
The headunit is a iva d900. expensive as hell system.
It has an external amp that works just like any headunit. all the wires on the harness are exactly the same as a harness off the back of a normal head unit.
It has all 4 channels hooked up. every wire except a pink/black one and orange one is hooked up to the bestbuy harness. you can hear sound, but it sounds like ear buds playing moderate music.

You shouldn't need the external amp to feed the bose amp.
The headunit should have yellow, red, black, blue, blue/white hooked up like normal, but speaker feeds should be fed from the RCA preouts instead of the speaker level outputs from the external amp.
