Which Radar detector in the 150-200 dollar range would be best? Main usage would be for highway driving. Looking at the Beltronics vector 955.
Any suggestions?

 

You might as well save more and get a better one used. Highway driving you should should shoot for a used Passport Redline. Dual antenna and picks up everything.

I am using a Passport 9500ix, but I spend just over 500 on it. I do see both of these from time to time on Craigslist for 250-350 used though.

Valentine One is also another great detector and can find used in the 2-300 hundred range.

get the 8500 x50 refurb from Ebay which is authorized from Escort radar detectors.
