Polk speakers, any good?

Polk speakers, any good?

Hey all,
i need advice.
How do Polk 4"x6" speakers compare to other brands?

best i have heard would have to be Boston Acoustics....
i install them in every Jeep Wrangler system i have done!

I thought the front speakers were 4"x6", correct me if I'm wrong.

Personally i would go with the infinity Kappa 462.3 4x6's. They cost more but the hold alot more wattage and pump much harder.

mount a 6 1/4 in there it will sound a lot better.

Does a 6 1/4 fit in a 3rd Gen max without bose system? will it fit in the doors without any modifications?

Go with the Polk Audio

You're going to have to make some mods, but they'll be minor ones, I'm sure.

Polk makes some great speakers, but you probably will want to go with the bigger ones up front. I had some 6.5" 2-Way Coaxials in my old Accord, and they were off the heeeezy!!! You'll love them, especially with the right amount of power.
