greetings!

I took a look around and found nothing about which factory bose head units will work in my 99 maxima. currently has the model pn-2261d in it (CD player is broken). I was wondering if the model pn-2261f will work? they basically look the same and have identical connections. let me know what you think.

Can't answer you specifically. But if the Bose deck came out of a 97 or 98 Max, it will work in your 99

to tell you the truth it's out of one of the following 3 vehicles.. 99 j20, 99 pathfinder or 99 maxima. but I have a funny feeling it's not from a maxima cuz I believe it would be a "pn-2261k" . so I suppose since I'm not for certain it's actually from a maxima even tho it looks identical it would be a hassle to return it once I try to install it. well again I appreciate your help! cheers
