need advise on amp i should buy????
right now i have 3 12inch solobaric L7's dvc 4-ohm. im undecided as too what amp i should buy. i was looking into the phoenix gold tantrum 1200.1 do u guys recommend phoenix gold amps?? or should i go for some ppi amps??? how much power do i need to power all 3 ???

That Phoenix gold amp is ok...it looks to me as Rockford took over that company or something. they use the same model numbers as Rockford. I was gonna get that exact amp. They r ghey though, on the site it won't even tell u the RMS..I'd get the PPI or autotek for some serious power espcially with 3 L7's..also the Tantrum is a new line. well if youve got the cash to buy 3 15 L-7 u prolly have the cash to go out and buy a HiFonics colosus amp...that is wheat im about to get in a week or two... 600x2 at 4 ohms...i think thats enough to run your subs til they pop...

I didn't know it mattered what type u got, as long as it had enough wattage to run your subs correctly and it had atleast 2 channels for the subs if u were powering only two subs....was i wrong? what else do u need wit a sub, unless u are trying to power more than your subs?
