Anyone with experience on US Acoustics amps?

Has anyone experienced using one of these? I found the US Acoustic 4085, pushes 85x4 @4 ohms with 0.01% THD. Retails in the mid $200's but i can get one really cheap right now.

Thanks.

That's what i heard, clean and quite powerful especially for the price. Pretty much every review i've seen is great. However i've also read numerious reviews of older models having thermal problems.

I found the 4085 (apparently can do 120x4 @2ohms) for $160 shipped. I always thought USA was in line with low-end Profiles/Clarus/Crunch amps.

I just purchased the US 2080 from crutchfield for $139. It has 2 channels x 80 watts and I am going to use to run 2 12's. I've only heard good things about their amps, but I will tell you for sure when I get it all installed over the next couple of weeks.

Well I just ordered a new Precision Power 4125 4x125 @ 4ohms amp the other day. Retail was something like 1300, I paid 599.
Will my amp sound cleaner and louder than yours? Yes.
Will it sound 3 times as clean and loud? Not even close.

In otherwords, you could have paid 3 times as much and gotten an amp like the one I ordered... but you wouldn't get 3 times the performance. So I have a little better sound and you have a much fatter wallet. Take your pick.

That's how car audio works... pay twice as much and get 10% better performance... pay ten times as much get twice as good of performance. But as a rule of thumb (almost always), the more expensive the equipment you buy, the less performance per dollar you get.
