Well sort of. I don't have bose, however I'm looking for something that will fit into the Bose sub factory opening that's hidden under the rear shelf without cutting any metal or TOO much modification. Know of any 8' subs that are free air ?? ie- no enclosure needed ????
Thanks-

there are a few free-air 8's, especially designed for free air. they are made by jl audio, kicker, OZ audio.
there are lot more out there, and more 8"s made for enclosures.
what i'm going to do is get an a/d/s 8" (mostly for SQ, and i don't have enough money for an audio illusion nd8) and then mount it in the stock bose hole, and then build a box to go uder the deck, i'm hoping the weight of the box will also help with vibrations on the deck, even though i don't expect much from the a/d/s, since it's not too big on spl.
