I did an install too here is the pic

This is a 7" monitor. I am actually in the process of redoing this install though. (Plan to change the seats to custom leather.) I will make a custom bezel for it next time. My site has a close up pic as well.

ok here is m write up.
take off the cloth part off the headrest.
center the tv in the center of the headrest and use permanent marker to trace where the tv sits ont h headrest....
then take a lof of measure ments just ot mae sure u wont screw up the hole u cut
if u cut the hole SMALLER than the tv then when u put the tv in place it will be ncie and tight and u wont ahve to worry about the tv falling out....
all u need is a nice sharp razor balde so start cutting in the headrest...it is really easy....id say a 6 on a scale of 10...the reason its a 6 is cuz it was my first time....if i were to do this project again id have both headrests done in less than 45 min...just cuz its easy to do it...once u r all done cutting the hole for ur tv put the cloth peice back on the headrest and then find the spiot where ur tv is gonnan fit in and cut that cloth out .......really easy.......if u hve any questions just reply to the thread......take it easy.........BTW what tv's r u gonna install?

That looks pretty good. Does the setup block your view in the rearview mirror? I know it would when it's flipped down, but how about when it is closed? I'm asking b/c I was thinkin of installing this 10.4" flipdown I saw for a decent price...

No problem post a few pix of how you're building it and the final result so that others can appreciate all the work and the time you put in.

ive got two farenheit 7" screens and im about top install them in my front visors. anyone done this and can throw some tips out? I dont think it will be too different from installing them in headrests, but i think it will look really sweet.

also, for those with 2 or more screens, what kind of tuner did you use?

With my TVs for the hearests, they are each controlled with a small powered control unit. It accepts a line in for video and then a line out video that I send to the other unit. Each of the units I have boost the line frequency so you dont have loss of video quality.

I dont know about doing them in the headrests, I not a fan of that since I am bout 6' tall and when I sit the people in the back cant really see the screens and I rather have it on the back of the headrests for the people in the back.

yeah im 6-3 and I was concerned about that too, but it doesnt seem like it would pose a problem. Ive sat in the front with the visors pulled down and people in the back could see the entire visor clearly over my head. not only that, but the visors down dont hinder my road visibility at all (even tho i wouldnt drive with mine down anyways).

That would be a good way of hooking them up, but my screens dont have a line out! I need a brain with 2 or more outputs, and just about all that I have seen only have 1
