How do you measure amps' output?

How do you measure amps' output?
I want to measure the peak power of my amp. WHats the easiest and cheapest way to do it?

not exact, but
you can put a multitester on the speaker leads (DC), play music, square the highest reading then divide that by the ohm load you intend to run.
