My experience with IONIC DYNAMICS
I think a call to DaveB might be in order. He would know if there was a spoiler made that has that arrangement vs. the 4 tabs...
Could you please address the rest of my concerns, mainly:
a) A picture with your 3rd brake light laid flat against the mounting slot.
b) Post pictures showing that: "The carbon isn't laid on smooth and the clear coat is paper thin"
c) Forward to any moderator my reply where I supposedly told you to "just shave the brake light and make it fit"
As I have posted in numerous occasions, I have resolved your brake light issue, I have one waiting for you. I also have a gasket to help alleviate the center post gap. The spoiler will flex enough to close that gap. In my following post I will show a picture showing exactly how large the gap is on a perfectly flat surface (1/2 INCH), and then show another pic how the gap can be closed by using some pressure.
Thanks!

Please reply with the 3rd brake light placed backwards, so we can view how wide it actually is, like in this picture:

Here is my picture showing the maximum possible gap. I say maximum possible gap since these pictures are taken on a perfectly flat table top, and the OEM trunk lid is not flat, it has a slope to it.
In this picture I placed my OEM remote, it measures less than 1/2 inch:

And in this picture I applied some pressure to close the gap:

As I have posted before I have a gasket available to fit the gap.
Absoundlab, please make a direct response to all of my questions.
Thanks!

Lastly Absoundlab, I don't see what the problem is regarding the mounting setup. This is NOT an OEM spoiler, this is a replica. My website does not state that we use OEM mounting points, clips, tape or anything related.
The definition of the word replica states: any close or exact copy or reproduction. Based off this definition, there is no obligation for us to use those same exact mounting techniques or locations. Another reason is because this is a CF spoiler, due to the materials it's not possible for us to use OEM clips for example.
I wanted to clear this up since I see that your reply only addressed those differences and the center post.
Thanks!

Ok, this thread is done. IconDynamics, you'll have to deal with this guy privately from here on out (sorry), since he won't be around the org for several months.
btw, you need to add "MAXIMA.ORG" to the links section of your site
