theyre on and polished...only one thing more that i didn't notice before and someone may know the consequences to this. the chrome plating on the back of a couple the wheels is peeling near where the hub of the wheel meet the axle, and the other two, have the same thing, but under the lug caps, around the rough area of the casting. i am slightly concerned about this thinking that it may spread like rust on a fender. starts out small, but could ruin the whole wheel. do i have any concerns? i will try to post pics tonight of the 4x4 look and also the peeling i'm talking about. now to go road test the new tires! i called the attny general today, but could only leave a message, so no real progress there, and i haven't heard back from the kent chamber of commerce yet either. tomorrow is another day

You sure those are 18" rims? Did you measure them? They look awfully small...even considering the pickup truck stock lift, that's still a small rim.

it's kinda hard for me to tell if i like those rims or not cuz i'm so distracted by the height of the car.
i think you need to get some springs.

aside from that, i'm keeping an eye on this thread; hoping for the best. it sounds like you're doing what i've been too lazy to do in the past by taking it to this guy. good luck.

this is what i got today>>>

Good Morning William,

Thank you for contacting the Kent Chamber of Commerce. I would be happy to send any comments along to the local better business bureau 800-825-8887. I am guessing that you probably were trying to purchase some type of lock tool based on other e0mails I have recently received. Please feel free to provide any detials: company name, address and circumstance and we will let others know.

Sincerely,
Daniel Smith, Executive Director
Kent Area Chamber of Commerce

guess this guy is running a tool scam too! who knows?

i sent a detailed message of the whole ordeal, so i would expect to hear some outcome in the next 2 weeks. progress is always good, no matter how long it takes.

it did and it didn't...the business bureau and the chamber of commerce both have formal complaints filed and neither have had any response to their inquiries. anyone surprised? not me! i did talk to gary after this had all happened because i was experiencing wicked vibration at around 65 with the new wheels. i requested hub rings and he was very pleasant and quick to respond...2 wks later. he also said if i ever wanted to sell wheels for him he would be more than happy to give me an even BETTER deal...i'm scared to touch that one! i'd probably end up in jail because of it! moral of the story is...avoid rimshop.com and custom wholesale like the plague, and cross reference your seller through infosearch.com by doing a reverse look-up and checking with the bbb and local chamber of commerce to ensure they are clean businesspeople. the website is no clue of a professional shop, or individual. anyone can learn to build a nice web page. good luck with your online purchases. i for one will deal with my local shops unless it is something they cant get for me, and even then i will give it second thoughts.

peace

I would give Axis a call and see what they say first. Maybe you will get lucky and can work everything out directly through them.
