how come i dont notice that much of a shinne after waxing?
i clay like 6 months ago, my car's paint is in excellent condition. everytime i wash, i wax it right after in the garage. i use meguiars wax but i never notice any extra shinne out of that thing. here is the only pic of my car that was taken under a shade.....

just another random pic to show what i mean
sure after i wash, i see a nice shinny surface but when i wax, it doesnt get any shinner. does it have something to do with the color sterling mist?? or is wax useless on my paint or meguiars simply sux !!!???

Your car looks fine and perfectly normal to me.
Sometimes people think that waxing suddenly makes the car look dazzling, when in fact waxing is more important to preserve the shine you have, and can sometimes help restore any lost shine.
Healthy paint should look stunning all by itself, and wax doesn't make a huge difference to the average eye. If the paint looks faded or dull, then you have work to do....

I doubt you need to wet sand. That's a last resort for paint in very bad condition.
I suggest that after you wash, you use a polish (like Menzerna) It needs to be a pure polish, not a combination 'cleaner/wax'. Then after that, use a wax like S100 or an acrylic like Klasse AIO and SG.
The dedicated polish is what will give more gloss to the paint.

too much wax might fade your paint
like someone else said waxing is more to preserver. some people think that polishing and waxing are the same thing
I mean it is a silver car and it will never look as gleamy as a black car (obviously) silver is good to hide scratches and look clean when its dirty. though it will never look as good as black on a good day

on the other hand, i agree with u
Use Meguiars Tech Wax and their # 7 Show car glaze which it a pure polish, this combo should make your paint look glosser,it did for my car and mine is white;like silver it is hard to get the reflective gloss qualities out, but i did!
