Dust...just keeps coming back

Heres the deal...
I shampood the entire interior of my car and it turned out great the carpet and headliner looked brand new....2 months later and the dirt is back; especially on my headliner..The only areas that stayed clean were the places underneath my visors...any idea where this dirt keeps coming from? How can I get rid uf it for good...
I have a tan interior btw...

My car is 3 years old and the headliner looks almost new. The carpets are dirty obviously because shoes bring in a lot of dirt and moisture especially in rainy and snowy weather creating stains. The possibility that the headliner to get dirty is if you keep your windows rolled down while driving. I keep the windows closed all the time.

^ keep the windows closed as much as possible, change the cabin filter, not sure but it could be related to where you're driving as well.

2 months is lenty of time for dust to collect dust in the interior. Just think about it, every time you open the door, dust is getting in from the outside and off your clothes. if you have a tissue box in your car, the lint that comes off them will dust your car. dead skin cells that comes off your body will also contribute to the dust. 2 months is alot of time, i wouldnt worry about it that much.
