Went to the dyno today

Went and got my 02 6 speed dyno'd today. I was pleased with the numbers but would like some feedback.

All 3 pulls were done in 4th gear...
Run 1: HP=213.16; TQ=217.83
Run 2: HP=213.66; TQ=215.63
Run 3: HP=206.07; TQ=217.83
A/F ratio ranged from 16 to 13.

My mods are: modified Injen intake, Cattman y pipe, Cattman b pipe, stock muffler.

Based on my mods do these #'s look good to you guys? This was my first time going to the dyno. I have heard people requesting run files. I did not get any of those but how would I go about getting them? Thanks in advance.

You have to ask the shop for the run files.... pretty simple.

What was the correction factor? What were the conditions? Any weird humps/spikes? Was this on a dynojet?

#'s look a smidge on the low side IMO.

Not bad.. typical..

Well, lessons learned for next time.....get the actual files, and tell them to take it to fuel cut.

I can't see the image, but the numbers look slightly low compared to what I've seen. MaximaDave had 217 whp and 221 tq (SAE) with Berk intake, Cattman y-pipe, Powertech exhaust, 18" Alessios, but then it can vary so much between cars and conditions.

See if they can email you the run files or if you can go back to the shop with a flash or floppy to get em.

The guy at the dyno place had me run the car myself so I don't know if I did it exactly correct. I would get it up to fourth gear then floor it up to redline and when it got to redline I would just let off the gas and throw it in neutral. Should I have just kept on the gas until I hit the rev limiter and let the car shut itself down? Do you guys think I could gain anything from tuning with SAFC? Or should I just wait until I get headers this spring?

Considering how often our tachs are off, yes.

Adjusting your AF depends on what it looks like now. But with headers, more likely that not, you'll need to use some sort of piggyback.

For the 6MT, 4th gear is right because typically you want to use the gear that has its ratio closest to 1.00.

im probably a retard but shouldn't those numbers be higher? like 10-15 higher for each. 255hp output... factor in DT loss etc etc... wouldnt those numbers be like ~220's?

not that i know of. theres also a dyno machine loss, and the average for a 6spd seems to be around 205.

Late to reply, but...

No. VQ35 in 2002/03 Maxipads is overrated. It has 245HP, not 255.
