I really need a VQ, Haltech tuner to get it RIGHT.

NEW GOAL IS close to 300whp as possible on stock cams and closed exhaust.

I just got my old goal of 290's with closed cutout.
Ever thought about getting with JWT and paying them to tune it?????

Higher Velocity = better filling of cylinders and more torque!

Great work, D. Guess I picked the right week to come back to the Org. Would love to see this with more aggressive cams.

Thanks!

Oh yeah! I would too, but its just not gonna happen right now. Ill leave that open to someone else who does the swap, there was a guy that posted on my youtube vid that said he has a 2012 motor , building it up, and swapping into a 5.5. But i haven't seen anything on it.

Sounds sweet with the cutout open!

What's your header/y-pipe, cat back setup?

One of my many theories Id like to test is what exhaust setup will benefit the Vq the most. We all know a 3" is better, but I'm thinking header/y-pipe combos and catbacks or there lack of .. If you know what I mean.

Yeah!!!

Im running cattman gen 3 headers, with custom y pipe that is unequal length , it has 2 1/2 collectors and 3" y section.

i'm going to swap on the stock catt y pipe for the next dyno trip.

The catback is a 3" cattman.

Yeah i want better headers. These are too short imo. I want something with longer primaries. Being FWD this will be a huge pain.

And im not sure if ill even mess with it simply because of cost. A custom set of FWD longtubes would be a couple grand probably.

Oh yeah! Gonna test out a 4" intake pipe soon! Expecting some nice gains with that, The HR heads, along with ssim 09 i/m, and the 75mmtb. hopefully with the 4" itll really breath some more. Even with stock cams.

GREED!!! LOL!!!

I think the engine has quite a bit more in it than you think.

Thanks for helping me out with the tune. Showed me some basics now I can make some little changes. I got the AFR up to 12.5 now at idle from 11.0.....still have to work on it some more. That remote PC thing was priceless......

OH yeah.....I feel its even stronger up top since you changed it to 12.8 up top.....I can actually feel that. Amazing what a little change can do. I think if AFR was tuned better I could make better power. Still running TOO RICH everywhere I think. Got a little less than 1/4 tank of gas left and at 224miles....GARBAGE!!!! Usually can get 280 and thats driving it HARD the whole time......AFRs are off. Car runs good though....just eat too much gas.

this is something else i'll be testing out when the sentra goes on the dyno. im running a big TB so a big intake should make nice power.

will be trying a variation of 3, 3.5 and 4 inch combos. we might want to squeeze the air into a smaller pipe and help velocity a little.
